I have a mild overbite, around 1–2 mm, and I’m 18. It contributes to a short-face look. Is there anything I should know before starting treatment with my orthodontist? She says instead of a bsso I need a chin implant

overbite is not a chin issue, your probably have mandibular retrognathia and need BSSO. getting chin implants wouldn't fix the lip-to-lip overlap problem.

also measure it again, it probably is more than 1-2mm.
