THIS GUIDE IS MOSTLY DIRECTED AT TPLINK ROUTERS SO IF YOU HAVE A DIFF ROUTER JUST SEARCH WHERE EACH MENTIONED SECTION IS

Step 1: Find your routers website​

- Check under your router, you should see a website link which will direct you to the routers config website
- If you're using tplink router just type http://tplinkwifi.net/
- The default password and username for 99% of routers is admin for username and admin for password, if its not check the bottom of the router and the username and the password should be there

Step 1: Find the DHCP tab​

- On the left side panel on tplink routers you should see the DHCP tab
- Should be the same on other router websites as well but if it isint just search on youtube
- You should see primary DNS and secondary DNS or DNS 1 / DNS 2

Step 3: Configuring the DNS​

- By default it should be 0.0.0.0
- Change primary DNS to 185.228.168.168 and change the secondary DNS to 185.228.169.168
- This is the best DNS server because it blocks EVERYTHING, anything explicit that you may see in google searches, it blocks explicit reddit groups, i think twitter and restricts explicit youtube videos and comments and also you cant bypass it with a vpn
- Alternatively you can use 1.1.1.3 and 1.0.0.3 but its much easier to bypass it

Step 4: Reset router​

- Save the changes
- And turn off your router and turn it back on after 3-5 seconds and you're done

The final stretch​

One thing that will make it IMPOSSIBLE for you life the restrictions is to go to the change the password section (for the panel not for the router) and make your friend or a family member change the password without you knowing and make them write it down somewhere and save it. the only way to bypass this would be for either the friend/family member to give you the password to change the dns settings or to hard reset your router and if you do that you'll need to set up the router from 0 and idk about your router but for the ones from my country you need to pay the providers worker to come and set it up again.

* If you have a verison or tmobile router your fucked cuz u cant change anything
