i don't get why people will go buy lifts instead of just investing in some form of boot with a large amount of extra height
me personally i will wear hiking boots that give me 2 inches i willing to say they are 100x more comfortable than lifts could ever be and will be way harder to notice than lifts in everyday shoes
if you are really trying to height fraud then do both, tho i think once your frauding over 2-3 inches its very noticeable

regardless i don't really agree since hiking shoes aren't as versatile as lifts. for example you can't show up to a wedding or a formal event in hiking boots. whereas lifts you can put in any shoes. Also if you buy the right kind of lift they can be really comfortable. The ones i got where from cnfans like 2 years ago and ive never had any problems regarding comfortability when i walk around and i can even jog in them and i wouldn't be able to tell the difference from normal other than being 2 inches taller.
I have also never been caught or even close to being caught for that matter.
recently i saw some fear mongering regarding it making you shorter which is complete bs. as long as you fix your posture if you notice it start to get worse (stretches etc.) you'll be fine
