like do you guys have friends and go to parties/functions or even just hangouts,

ive probably only been to 1 party and that was with my old friends, i moved to another part of the state and at my new school i dont know anyone, i have always had extreme social anxiety, i never really struggled with that at my old highschool though because i had known most people since kindergarten, now at this new school i walk in the hall by myself at lunch and its mad embarrassing, i deadass have no friends, hoco is coming up and i have no one to go with, probably gonna make a shitty excuse to my parents “i dont want to go” but in reality i just have no one to go with, i talk to some people in class but idk how to engage with them at lunch, i dont wanna seem like a weirdo and just walk up to their lunch table, i dont wanna be seen as the kid who follows people around because they have no friends, idk what to do bro.

please give me advice ive never struggled with this and my parents probably think of me as a disgrace

First of all take pregab or something for social anxiety
Secondly, join a club, any club that you can start to make friends with common interests
Thirdly, I'm kinda a loser, but its a tight knit community (80k population in the city) where i live and almost everyone knows eachother and I try to engage in NT conversations as much as possible, sometimes I cross the limit but most people dont notice/don't mind
Lastly yea dont follow them around they'll start to talk bad behind your back

Bro trust me when my now friend, then new guy started chasing us around,my friends (not me) started talking bad about him, whereas when I sat alone last year in my first year of high school when I didn't know no one, some guys had seen that I was a good guy and came up and sat with me and started a chat, but yea if this is your case you must know how to hold a chat and when to hold back.

I dont look like an easily approachable person either. Many people say i have a resting angry face, yet I force myself to smile and laugh and really focus on split seconds when people make jokes thay are friendly
But um look up youtube tutorials and take pregab if possible

shit i'd probably do a sport or something. if you're not annoying as shit then you'll make at least one friend, and if you're any good you'll gain some status

it's weird I have a few friends and people are generally friendly to me and treat me well. but I don't go out that much.

I think it's mostly due to life circumstances mainly my engineering coursework taking up a lot of free time and me not being on campus for too long more than my looks. People who've seen me generally said im around hmtn. far from the best looking good guy out there but definitely not the worst either. have quite a few foids on snap and i've been glazed before
