Germans and netherlands are the same people ?

Both are Germanic in a sense but differ in genetics. Also the Dutch people dont necessarily share that much with them for example Frisian is a language found in the netherlands and is more sort of the original English language. Dutch and German people are as connected as polish and Ukranian ones.
