I'm seeing a dermatologist about accutane this week. What dosage should I try to aim for? Ik they often wait to the extreme of extreme cases to prescribe isotretinoin.

I have a lot of back acne/cysts as well. Compared to what it is during football season, my acne isn't that bad rn, once the season starts in a few weeks it'll be back way worse, with cysts on my face and loads of acne.

It's helped a lot, it's just not enough to get rid of all the acne. I havent had sugar in 3 weeks and generally avoid greasy food and salt. I think the only possible diet part causing my acne could be dairy

Shi 40-60 might be the move. I think I'll try 40 and see how bad my knee pain is/the dryness and if it's too bad I'll do 20mg.

I would stick to 20 if I were you but 40 is effective as well. Just more intense Is all

I think it's genetic. I've had acne for a long time and I'm done being patient and trying creams that help but don't fully fix the problem
