Brain and Behavior:
“Oxytocin has a ‘gluing’ effect in the brain,” Greenwood explains. “This peptide amplifies the brain's reward pathways that are triggered when we perceive trust or bonding. This has particular implications for men: oxytocin elevates the reward potential of bonding and feeling close to others. This explains how feeling loved, loyal, and cooperative can feel like reward rather than hard work.”

2. Stress Regulation:It dampens the cortisol peak that follows stress and the threat of attack. From an evolutionary perspective, the function of oxytocin might have been to calm early human males and keep them cooperative when hunting as a group. This would counterbalance the impulse to merely attack. In 2017, a meta-analysis revealed oxytocin can reduce heart rate and blood pressure during social stress.

3. Sexual and Emotional Synchrony: During sex arousal and orgasm, oxytocin levels peak in both men and women. In men, oxytocin has been observed to play a role in the coordination of musclecontractions during ejaculation and relaxation following orgasm. Even more fascinatingly, oxytocin has been implicated in the promotion of pair-bonding and the development ofaffection following sex. This explains why oxytocin has been shown to correlate positively with attachment and sexual satisfaction in long-term relationships.

4. Trust, Empathy, and Cooperation “Oxytocin heightens the importance of social cues. In other words, you actually process faces and emotion differently when oxytocin levels are elevated. This can increase your awareness of other people's emotions – or raise your concern for your group, depending upon the situation. This isn’t going to make men soft. In fact, in our hyper-isolated world today, this could actually represent a huge advantage.”

5. Why You Should Be Taking It On AAS
Anabolic steroids can inhibit the production of oxytocin. This can reduce the ability to empathize and feel nuances in one’s mood. Supplementing oxytocin can counter the effects of mood instability and lack of trust when cycling. Moreover, oxytocin has been shown to reduce blood pressure due to the relaxation of vascular smooth muscle and the reduction of stress-induced vasoconstriction. This can counter the effects of thick blood and hypertension experienced when cycling AAS.

6. How It Can Affect Looks Stress can devastate your skin, sleep, and face – oxytocin's ability to diminish this stress response. Increased oxytocin levels translate to improved blood flow in the skin and relaxed facial muscles because oxytocin signals the brain that the face appears relaxed.

Summarisation no AAS-
Less cortisol= better looks
More sociable as it is linked to the reward centre in the brain
Better sex and performance
Better charisma
Better bonding and connection
Mental clarity in stress

Summarisation on AAS-
Less "roid rage"
Sexual health ( pair with hcg)
Lower blood pressure and hematocrit

As always correct me if im wrong. I'll take it as constructive criticism. Much love ❤️

AFAIK, it does not reverse AAS induced erythrocytosis. That's handled by therapeutic phlebotomy. But nice thread overall.
What oxytocin can do, however, is modulate the downstream cardiovascular strain accompanying that thickened blood. It does so by promoting relaxation of blood vessels via nitric oxide pathways, lowering systemic vascular resistance, and dampening sympathetic overdrive-all of which could lower hypertension risk even if hematocrit stays high. So, it's more of a pressure-buffering or stress-dampening compound rather than a hematological corrective. So defo act misunderstanding/ miswording on my end. Ty for telling me bhai
