What are people thoughts on local igfbp near the growth plates to delay closure

Growth plate closure is mainly caused by estrogen signaling. IGF-1 inhibits p450 aromatase cell apoptosis which means more aromatase but doesn't directly cause growth plate closure.
Also some IGFBPs inhibit IGF-1 so you gotta be careful
You'd also need VERY precise delivery when injecting locally, and in animal studies local injection resulted in asymmetries
