Water Fasting is an incredibly useful tool which can be utilised to look your best, Its safe to say that no matter what we eat, our gut requires a break every now and then, with doctors recommending MOST individuals to water fast at least twice a year.

A good way to water fast long term without risking refeeding syndrome or health risks is to water fast for 3-5 days, eat healthy foods as you normally would for 1-2 days, then fast for another 5 days - this is of course if you're looking to lose fat as quick as possible. Any other form of starvemaxxing is cope. If you're going to starvemaxx at least get some benefit from it.
This is a good tool if you want to do things the natural way, but nowadays there are many medications/drugs you can use to lose weight so I wouldn't rely on this too much, its more of an extra support system to shave off extra fat wherever you can, and really lock in the leanness.
Caution
Try to stick to a ketogenic diet for a small while after water fasting, a high influx of carbs doesn't matter much and you CAN do whatever you want after but its best to start light, portions of food should be limited, you probably won't feel very hungry anyway once you've reached this point. Coming out of the fast consider the following: • MCT oil • Bone Broth • Vegetable Juice • Feremented Foods • Vegetables (cooked) • Plain Animal proteins • Fruit Juice
Research indicates that during a 5-day water fast, 33% (one-third) of total weight lost is fat mass. For a typical 5-day fast, this translates to a loss of approximately 0.5 to 1.5 lbs of actual body fat, with the majority of the 4-6% total weight reduction being water and glycogen depletion.
