so cutting medial isn't smart but doing DIY filler is? Yes orka did precautions before doing filler but at least 50% of the people who do it are not going to do all the precautions or be able to effectively deal with the sides like filler migration. and lets say you do diy filler and fuck up bad, you inject a bit more into one side then the other. now ur asymmetric until you can get more filler as opposed to the medial canthus which you can just cut more to even out.

what is this supposed to prove? obviously when its a popular procedure there will be instances where it goes wrong

and even then, you're saying "DIY Filler" as if all areas are equally as risky, areas like your jaw and chin are very simple, whereas injection sites in your nasolabial region usually lead to a higher chance of getting a VO, then on top of that, there's just people who aren't knowledgable on amounts to inject

DIY Filler is a very broad term, there's high risk and low risk areas, if you don't educate yourself before you do what you're doing then you fucking up is completely on you, I did extensive research on where to inject and got the results I wanted

You can't get people who don't do research, find out they mess up, then blame the procedure for it.

Technique-wise, it's simple. If you fuck up, it's on you and you shouldn't touch a syringe again.

Cutting your medial canthus is not a great idea simply because the effects aren't permanent, the region scars & looks worse than it did before, if you don't disinfect you do have a high chance of infection, and on top of that, the people that do their own cutting usually use tools like an eyebrow trimmer or an old kitchen knife to do it

In both instances there are risks, and you need to do research before doing either of them. But the difference is that the ROI on cutting your medial canthus just isn't enough to go through this, because the results are usually shit.

Yes they both of risks but as what I said fillers have a greater percentile in success and it can ascend you more.Also cuts are permanent and again as I said fillers can be dissolved if the user botch them self while DIYing
