Frame

-Shoulder width

-Waist ratio

-Posture

These are the foundations of having that wide built look. You can have a great face, but if your frame is narrow your presence WILL suffer

Example:

IMG_1561.jpeg

The good news is that Even tho bone structure is set, You can dramatically improve the appearance of your frame through muscle development, posture correction and fat loss

Now in order to achieve crazy bidelt numbers the easiest way is to train the muscles that give you that wide look

SHOULDERS

Shoulders are the single most important muscle to building a wide frame (water)
The fastest way to grow your shoulders is to train them often and with enough volume to really push growth. For width focus on focus on the side delts

Lateral raises with cables are best (dumbbell is good too)
aim to reach failure on every set at around the 12-15 rep range

IMG_1565.jpeg

Overhead press should also be included twice a week to build overall mass and strength. Incorporate rear felt flys or reverse pec deck to keep your shoulders balanced and prevent bad posture.
Training shoulder 2-3 times a week works well

BACK

The back is another very important factor and is almost just as important as shoulders for looking wide/ achieving a strong v taper. The main muscle you should focus on is your lats

Pull-ups and lat pulldowns should be your main lifts, keeping your chest up and pulling with your elbows to really target the lats.

IMG_1569.jpeg

IMG_1566.jpeg

Adding in rows with a slight forward lean helps hit them from another angle. Train lats 2-3 times a week, focus on clean form over heavy weight if you are a beginner
and let the muscle stretch at the bottom of every rep for maximum growth.

WAIST

Most people don't actually have wide waists they just have too much body fat.
Get to around 9-10% body fat, will make your waist look much smaller. Beyond fat loss, learning to control your diaphragm and core muscles can make a big difference. Practice keeping your abs tight and breathing through your chest instead of letting your stomach push out. This takes time but dramatically improves your waist aesthetics.

Fixing anterior pelvic tilt improves posture and creates the illusion of a smaller waist. For exercises to correct this, I recommend watching this video:

BONUS TIP

Avoid training traps at all costs if you want to be aesthetic and have a wider look

Big traps: narrow look-
IMG_1562.jpeg

Small traps: wider more aesthetic look-
IMG_1563.jpeg

Look at how much more aesthetic he looks with smaller traps.

That’s all folks I hope this was informative.
Because this is my first guide feedback and tips to make my guides better in the future would be much appreciated

Happy thanksgiving and good luck

In my gym workout ( Full body) I am doing a machine row, should I worry about my traps or nah? I know it's a dumb question.

No that’s a valid question. It indirectly works traps but that’s okay. Im saying avoid training traps directly and have proper form in exercises where your traps might take over 👍

also for back thickness you should add kelso shrugs. and every exercise you do you should take it to failure for a total of 2 or even 1 set. take 1:30 minute or 2 minutes of rest between each set and hold the weight at the eccentric of the exercise for 2-3 seconds. ALWAYS make sure that you have had enough rest between each workout day
