mods i think the forum needs something that actually adds structure to the rating culture instead of the usual chaos. here’s the idea:

official rating badge next to pfps

every user can request an “official rating” once a month
the rating shows up next to their profile picture for everyone to see
no edits no resets no vanity padding

who can rate

only users with
• at least 400 rep
• a 1 to 1.5 rep ratio or better
can give official ratings
this filters out trolls low effort posters and biased cliques

why this is good

• reduces useless spam rating threads
• gives people a stable benchmark of where they actually stand
• motivates users to post higher quality pics since this rating is permanent
• encourages people to contribute more to reach rating privileges

extra points

• filtered pics instantly disqualified
• the ratings given are logged (to prevent abuse)
• anyone caught inflating or sabotaging gets rating rights removed

mods if you add this the whole forum becomes cleaner and more legit instead of the wild west we have now.

but instead we allow users to send their face to the mods, if they are the rating which they claim to be, then it will be on their profile/ bio

mostly for people who claim a certain rating, so us mods can avoid doing super specific rating and simply accept or decline the self imposed one "yea he looks about mtn, yea id give him htn, sure" you get it.
