This is a compilation of the prior 2 "guides" I made, and more. I'll edit my post as I find fit for more knowledge.

I. STOICISM
Happiness comes from developing a virtuous character, not external things like wealth or fame.

Virtuous character, many could say, comes with looksmaxxing. If you are constantly working to better yourself, you'll also, in turn, better those around you, if your friends and/or family see you working to better yourself through working out, bettering your health internally, or even statusmaxxing and getting a new job. This is similar to the domino theory/looksflation I've seen a few times in looksmaxxing, where one person looks better and so another does, etc. Although in looksmaxxing, the focus and systems are mainly built on looks and one's physical characteristics, this still sheds light into stoicism with its comprehensive systems and ranking ability. This is shown with the PSL scale and the appeal ratios, using intelligent data and analytics to build an "average", showing people how to be less than the average, how to get to the average, and how to get above the average.

II. NATURALISM
Everything in the universe is natural; there are no supernatural entities, forces, or explanations.

You can somewhat connect this to the looksmaxxing idea of "it's over", this is brought through the idea that nothing external or supernatural can fix or save you other than yourself, if you don't personally stop yourself from becoming ropefuel, then nobody will. Everything that comes to you is natural, and natural things are meant to play out. This is the blackpill philosophy of "it never started" when responding to "it's over". You could further tie this into the whitepill philosophy of "it's never over", showing that you can always work to better yourself, similar to how they do in nature; in nature, everything evolves and grows based on where it's located and what it has available. Humans do the same with people and mating. If you work on yourself and grow yourself, you can further "evolve yourself, proving and disproving both theories at once.

III. NIHILISM
The general assertion that life has no intrinsic meaning, purpose, or value.

Nihilism has a strong place in looksmaxxing, specifically blackpill, it is shown through the determinist belief and the code of moral fairness, showing that despite what you may do or say as a person, nothing truly matters if you're not chad. Blackpill undermines the belief of meritocracy and the growth through what you do; blackpill believes that it's how you look and how you carry yourself. This completely negates, as said previously, any form of meritocracy, which directly relates to nihilism on how traditional outlooks and scores of life are illusory and false. This could also tie into fatalism on how everything is inevitable, and essentially, once again, doesn't matter what you do, if you're born chad, you will get where you need to go no matter what. Fatalism and nihilism both touch on these kinds of topics and fit almost perfectly into place for looksmaxxing, and blackpill specifically.
This is my first time trying to make a guided/formatted post, hope this looks nice and all makes sense. I'm big into politics and philosophy, so I wanted to somewhat bring it into the looksmaxxing space.

IV. FATALISM
All events are predetermined and inevitable, rendering human actions powerless to change outcomes.

A belief that all events and actions are predetermined and unavoidable, rendering individual choice and decision ultimately ineffective in changing outcomes. In a fatalist framework, actions may occur, but their results are already fixed by fate, destiny, or some other inescapable order. This type of worldview often leads to resignation of belief, as effort is perceived as useless against a predetermined outcome anyway. Unlike in determinism, fatalism emphasises inevitability without resistance, contrasting with existentialism or absurdism, which emphasise response despite constraint. In looksmaxxing, we see this through the "it's over" outlook, despite any action you may take to yourself, you will never become chad nor will you ascend, you're a hardlocked ltn, and you're destined for nothing.

V. EPICUREAN(ISM)
Seeking a happy, tranquil life through pleasure, primarily with the absence of pain and mental disturbance.

Epicureanism can easily connect to looksmaxxing as a response to the dissatisfaction those philosophies produce. While blackpill emphasises appearance, hierarchy, and external validation as determinants of worth, Epicureanism argues that such pursuits are "vain desires" that generate anxiety rather than happiness. Despite this vital difference, many looksmaxxers who have been recently blowing up are not known for their happiness or mental situation, but rather for their looks. This shows in Clavicular a lot, somebody recently blew up on TikTok who is known for being a semi-narcissistic nihilist, wanting to look better and constantly mog despite his decreasing mental and potentially physical state. Epicurus believes that a good life depends on tranquillity and freedom from mental disturbance. This is often done through looksmaxxing; if you're good-looking and you mog, you won't have as much stress when it comes to talking to and meeting women, which a lot of people who are ugly struggle with. Epicureanism is one of the harder ones on the list, being that I don't know much about Epicureanism, but I did what I was able to based on some brief PDFs I found. Please correct me in the thread if any of this is wrong!

VI. ABSURDISM
Centred on the conflict between humanity's innate search for meaning and the universe's cold, meaningless nature.

Absurdism is a position that arises from the conflict between humanity's innate desire for meaning and the universe's apparent indifference to that desire. Humans seek order, justification, and purpose, yet the world offers none that are objective or guaranteed. This opposition creates the "absurd"; unlike in nihilism, absurdism does not conclude that life is worthless and instead argues that meaninglessness should be confronted honestly and lived through defiance. The most commonly associated philosopher for this, Albert Camus, proposed a revolution internally, something looking for freedom and passion as a response, one continues living, creating, and acting meaningfully while fully aware that no ultimate meaning exists; you have to create your own meaning.

VII. DETERMINISM
All events and actions are fixed by prior events and laws, making the future inevitable (and predictable if one had complete knowledge).

Integral to blackpill ideology is the claim that genetics largely determines your social and romantic outcomes. This aligns pretty well with hard determinism, a "sect" of determinism that rejects free will in favour of causal necessity. Individual effort is recognised as marginal or illusory, reinforcing a belief of resignation or betrayal of yourself as opposed to agency. We see this most often with blackpill and hardmaxxing where you see the person pinning and taking peptides to further "redesign" and suit themselves better, rather than keep themself in their box, they work outside the box and use their prior knowledge (of them being ugly) to build a better them, this is almost forced or required as no-one wants to be ugly, tying into the no free-will belief. I don't know a LOT about determinism, or hard determinism specifically, so some second opinions would be great.

VIII. MATERIALISM
The only thing that matters is prioritising wealth, possessions, and physical comfort as paths to success and happiness.
Looksmaxxing often reduces human relationships and connection to physical and neurological processes; this is taken in the form of facial ratios and harmony, evolutionary impulses, and the hormones each person has. This mirrors reductionist materialism, which denied metaphysical or spiritual dimensions of human experience, this is further backed up by the constant edits you see where it says "What really happened?", Rather than looking at the person's ability to do things or how they treat you, they look only at the looks and potential gain the person could have for their kids. This philosophy isn't just a speculation; however, it's been proven on multiple occasions that women would prefer a good-looking man over an ugly one, regardless of what he has or may have done (As shown in this great post -> https://looksmax.gg/threads/child-r...-of-model-more-convos.6934/page-4#post-164435)

IX. PESSIMISM
Often expecting the worst in situations and life, views challenges as insurmountable, and often sees potential failures before successes

Schopenhauer's philosophical pessimism, in particular his view that desire leads to inevitable suffering, closely maps blackpill's attitude toward romantic longing. Attraction is framed as a cruel mechanism of nature that perpetuates dissatisfaction, exclusion, and suffering rather than fulfilment. Desire is an endless, painful striving that can never be permanently satisfied; when desires come unmet, people suffer, and when they are met, the satisfaction they feel is brief and only leads to a new sense of longing. This is most commonly seen with people who ascend rapidly rather than at a pace; those who rapidly ascend are usually still seen by others in their former self (according to psychological reports, people associate things with others for prolonged periods, even after no contact is made). In both blackpill/looksmaxxing and pessimism as a philosophy, nature is indifferent and usually cruel, structuring life in ways that guarantee exclusion and frustration for prolonged lengths of time. However, pessimism differs in its way of response; rather than resentment, it often promotes and encourages detachment, reduced desire, and aesthetic or intellectual contemplation to mitigate the suffering being experienced, whereas obviously looksmaxxing promotes ascension and furthering yourself in health, looks, and personality.

Hope you guys enjoy this, this is greatly helping me learn more philosophical principles and ideologies while also endebting them to looksmaxxing which I've had an interest in for the past 4ish years. Both of my worlds have collided, and I want to thank specific people for their support and inspiration in me writing these, also those who have philo-names (Cyn, Determinism, Machiavellianism), you guys are cool.

I understand what this thread is trying to say, but it's literally just low iq ranting. You're trying to say that philosophy breeds pretentious people, which isn't inherently wrong, but you can also just say that socialism breeds autism; there are obviously retards in the far left, that doesnt 100% mean that every left-leaning person is an idiot or mentally slow. Your point is just not intelligent, honestly. If you have the time for it, thinking intellectually about topics is beneficial.
