Orbital box osteotomy (OBO)
Not over for IPD/ES-cels
• Reshaping/Repositioning the orbits (eye sockets) means that widely spaced eyes ( or close spaced eyes) can be moved closer together and fix the abnormal vertical position of one of the orbits. Also bringing the orbits forward can also mean that the eyes sit deeper in the skull so are less likely to be damaged.
TLDR; OBO can change the projection, width, and height of the eye area.
• Price:
Total Cost (Medical, Insured) = $10,000 - $30,000 (out-of-pocket after insurance)
Total Cost (Cosmetic, Uninsured) = $25,000 - $60,000+
( Often requires looking for internationally surgeon + additional planning and implants= $10,000 - $20,000)
+can also fix sunken eyes
+gives you Hunter eyes if done and planned correctly. (Probably not you then

+as I said earlier it improves orbitals rims projection
+Corrects Structural Issues ( fixes hypertelorism / narrow sockets / Cranio-fronto-nasal dysplasia / Fronto-nasal dysplasia / Midfacial cleft etc…)
+Aesthetic Improvements (Last Resort for IPD/ES-cels)
+Long-Term Stability( when you actually make it out successfully and don't get botched it provides lasting skeletal sup
port)
-Risk of Perma blindness or vision changes
-Most surgeon's won't do it for aesthetic/cosmetic reasons and will call you sick psycho ( and they are right) JFL
-High Complexity and Recovery (swelling, bruising, and pain last weeks / full recovery 3-6 months with activity restrictions)
-Significant Swelling and Scarring
-Limited Reversibility! Bone cuts are permanent; revisions are harder and riskier as if it wasn't bad enough already
-being mentalcel throughout recovery
One of the most extreme procedures with highest risks. If you really wanna get it you need therapy not a surgery. The eye era is extremely sensitive. Stories of those who got fucked because of OBO won't make it to the forums
just posting anything atp
