Introduction -
IMG_0055.png

Skin is one of my favourite softmaxxes, has some of the best ROI and is relatively easy to do. It is insanely important and can take you from a LTN acnecel to Female Gazed HTN.

The basics -
First off if you don’t have a basic cleanser or moisturiser + SPF genuinely fuck off. It’s a necessity and you will see a massive difference

Cleanser - A gentle non barrier damaging cleanser and ideally fragrance free e.g LRP Gentle Cleanser
Do AM and PM ideally but once a day would suffice

Moisturiser - Something that contains barrier supporting lipids, and a form of Humectant (Draws water in). E.g Neutrogena Hydro Water Boost Gel.
AM + PM every day if you have dry skin and once everyday if you have dry/neutral skin

Exfoliation - This one depends on your skin sensitivity and type

For oily skin I would recommend a BHA based exfoliator that would aid to combat oil e.g Paula’s choice 2% BHA liquid

For dry/textured use an AHA based exfoliator that will promote smoothness and not over strip e.g The ordinary Gycolic acid 7%

Toner
Use whatever the fuck you want it just balances ph just avoid ones with heavy alcohol or fragrances
E.g BYOMA Hydrating Milky Toner

Targeted Treatments
This is where you may have to use your brain a little bit but

Retinol - Increases skin cell turnover 20x less effective version of tretinoin it helps to stimulate collagen and reduce acne but might potentially cause purging (skin realising pus short term) but with long term benefit

Tretinoin - Increasing cell turnover 20x more effective retinol, will glow your skin but purging is highly likely and short term it will look a lot worse

Vitamin C - Will brighten your skin and prevent some damage, not necessary but useful

Niacinamide - Helps with oil control and balances sebum, helps support barrier function and prevent acne

Eye bag Treatments - They don’t work they’re all cope sleep more or you have reccesed infras. Try shit with caffeine (it makes it worse) if you want to test it.

(My favourite) Tinted SPF - Tinted sunscreen is effectively makeup or mimicking makeup depending on who you ask. It reduces eye bags, redness and all forms of discolouration, it can help minor imperfections and just really acsend your skin. It blends with your natural skin tone due to iron oxides so there’s no need to buy a specific version (within reason).

Or you could just pin GHK CU and avoid all of this thread.
Sorry for the most basic shit this will be the first of a few depending on if it hits.
