If your not reading the book they claim is the word of God you shouldnt have a say on dismissing a religion

the only religions that have major support are widely accepted and are 100% tools for mass control (Islam, Christianity)

Quran is contradictory, Bible corrects itself too many times, too many interpretations/versions.

I was leaning towards Eastern Orthodoxy and have yet to look into Gnosticism, which interests me, but it’s really difficult to force myself to believe in something that sheep accept as true. If God exists, the understanding of it is complex, and masses are too stupid for real critical thinking and complex analysis of deities, philosophy, metaphysics, objective morality, etc.

EO has great tradition and moral understanding but the truth behind it all is too complex to ever know for certain. We are limited beings, and there’s absolutely no way to know if Jesus was God, nor if God is everything we think, less, or more.

My point. If God exists, could he not make it logical to be another way? It is his creation, and would it not be better to be able to truly understand yet still be free without it being conflicting? This is hard to imagine because we are limited by our logic, but an omnipotent being could easily do this

As I voluntarily stepped down from my moderation position, I will take upon the role of a postmaxxer once again.

Inspired by realhmtn , I have decided to start a series called “Make An Incel Think.”
This will include theories and thought-provoking concepts for members of the forum to try to decipher and discuss amongst one-another, for the purpose of interaction and community.

For today, we have a time hypothetical.
Imagine you have:

A Time Traveler → moves between points on the timeline (past/future)
A Time Stopper → freezes time for everyone/everything for, say, 5 seconds

The key question is:
Is the time traveler bound by the same “frozen timeline” as everything else?
Would the universe choose which ever power is superior and holds more authority? Would a separate timeline split off from the original? Or would the time-traveler be stuck in a sort of temporal limbo?

This makes you think:
- Is time a dimension you move through, or
- Is it a process that must be running for anything to happen?

If it’s a dimension → travel is possible even when “paused”
If it’s a process → everything halts, no exceptions
