i was talking to a classmate who is decently smart and can think for himself unlike most people about feeling love not sexually just have love as an emotion(not traying to be tuff and shit i was venting.i dont have someone around me as a friend who can think for himself and not go with what society tells them so i cant open up to someone and let them really know me)i dont remember how the topic came up but i told him i dont feel love for anyone.everything i try my best to do for them is out of obligation and my conscience.he told me he felt the same way until he quote on quote'fell in love with someone at 14' wich i dont believe was really love.he also siad falling in love usually wont happen this early and can even take till ur 50 and mentioned a writer that for the life of me i cant remember.does anyone else feel the same way, traying ur best to feel love for ur parents, friends etc and keep failing in the process.if so what help you to feel it

Yeah I don't really love anyone that much in my life. I don't think I could fall in love with a girl unless it was a stacy

I find it unlikely that people will experience what people call “falling in love” at 50

By that point you are both past your aesthetic prime, have most likely already had poor experiences in relationships and have a jaded&grey outlook on the word

If it takes you that long, it probably will never happen unfortunately

Ive had problems with affection since I was very young but I would say I "fell in love" ~2ya
Ive legit never felt that way so I guess this is actual love, however maybe it is yet to come

Maybe you should believe him

I think theres no advice you can be given except to be patient
