yeah bro facts i see the heavily ND kids at my school struggle with hygiene and get bullied by practically everyone. i feel sorrow for those sorts of people.
a couple weeks ago there was some heavily retarted kid that was attempting to kill herself in school (she was trying to jump of two boxes it would't have even been a fall big enough to even break a bone) but still everyone was making fun of her it was sad

you shouldn't feel sorry, if the kid felt uncomfortable I'm sure adjustments could be made to move online, but at the same time autists obviously can't pick up on social cues, so I'm not one to judge, but based off what I've seen with an autistic kid at my school is that they will be getting bullied and think its a joke, just laugh it off or something.

Like I said, not sure if this is just a common coping method for them, or if they genuinely just can't pick up on social cues jfl.

its a mix of both probably
most autists that go to public schools have normally just switched in from doing online schooling i know a guy that used to do online its not a nice experience apparently

wow that's harsh, imagine being autistic and you've been in online school for majority of your life

highschool will hit them like a brick.

pretty much everything hits like a brick for really low functioning autist, its just part of the condition.
most of the special kids do get teacher assistants to stay with them though out the day

I know, but in my opinion they should just stay homeschooled, on campus school won't benefit them in anyway.
