I'm 5'9 at 13, turning 14. My dad is about 5'7, and my mother is a 4'10½.
I know you can get tall from other genes in the bloodline, but my brother who is turning 13 is only 5'2. it isn't any different from my grandparents, my grandmother from my mom and dad's side are both around 4'11-5'1.
