firstly, after quite a bit of research im fairly certain i have telogen effluvium.

tl;dr my hair became fucked when i joined new school because of the shit air quality (just a theory might not be the cause), dry, thinning, unstyllable and rips out 24/7 especially when wet. - will it recover on its own? or am i just fucked

when i joined a new school i noticed everyones hair is properly fucked, even the foids. thinning like crazy, very slight greying, dry, some nigga was almost fucking bald AND i heard tons of people complaining about hair falling out or just looking shit even when styled. - 1 week in i noticed my hair dryer than its ever been (even after applying hair oil, shampooing and conditioning perfectly and it was falling out a fuck ton. i wanted to rope.

in detail, im not experiencing male pattern baldness because theres shedding throughout the scalp, its decreased significantly but the problem of it feeling like fucking shit, dry as fuck, unstyllable, hard and greasy somehow and just fucking disgusting to touch 24/7 persists.

initially i was so fucking pissed because what do you mean i joined a new school after getting expelled and now im gonna lose my hair. but i did some research and im fairly certain its telogen effluvium. and the only possible reason could be either that they put shit in the food - i found out this isnt the case after my hair was still shit in summer.

So, i think its air quality. maybe oxidative stress from the air quality fucked my hair?

will supplementing glutathione and melatonan to help deal with oxidative stress prevent it from getting worse and will i get full recover when i leave???

also random vent if u give a fuck:

i got expelled from my previous school for some bs which i wasn't apart of, didn't stress too much about it although i was sad. im at a new school that's so fucking shit, i haven't spoken to a single guy or foid(because they're all ugly as fuck and i'm too good for them). now im almost about to take exams and get the fuck out of this shithole. its been like 8 months and after summer i can finally go back to my old school and start slaying thick mtbs again.

probs due to air quality/oxidative stress

pollutants (PM2.5, VOCs, ozone, heavy metals) generate ROS (reactive oxygen species) in scalp skin and hair
this induces premature catagen (stopped growth) and inflame follicle microenvironment
and also it may oxidize lipids in sebum which fucks natural conditioning causing dry hair

stress
deficient in nutrients
or maybe air quality

all those can be the reasons

depnds on what you can afford
reasonable one is just multivitamin supplements, eating some eggs, sleeping 8 hours+, maybe melatonin.

If you have money to throw around, you can go with glutathione IV etc.

im not sure about antioxidant supplements alone, they cant fully neutralize direct, continuous contact of pollutants w hair and scalp

you gotta leave the school

antioxidant supplements are helpful but not efficient alone

either ur school has a shit ventilation system and the air is lacking humidity or they use old cleaning products.

yes ik this is no scientifical proof, may aswell be saying shit.
but my mom used to forbid us from going into rooms where she used harsh cleaning products because she said it was damaging to skin & hair because of the byproduct of air and thy cleaning product. just smth to consider

yeah it makes complete sense and their most likely is scientific reasoning behind this. do you have any idea if i will get full recovery after leaving? especially for skin because its cell turnover is faster.

if ur case is truly telogen effluvium you should be beginning recovery of hair follicles as soon as you eliminate the problem, that is if you have a good diet and sleep (circadian rhythm is essential for hair) so i wouldn't worry much
