Basically the title, i’ve fried my hair from straightening it so much and while it’s still long it’s super damaged. Is there salvation potential for it by using oils/serums etc or should i just cut it off.

Are there any products that can save heat damaged hair??

You can make it temporarily better with protein treatments but that isn't worth it imo

Cut and regrow, or just wait for hair to replace itself via shedding but it’ll take a few months

How much of it is damaged? You could just snip the ends, wait for it to grow back and wash and repeat. Just don't do anything to damage the new hair

right now its going down all the way to my back but id have to cut it to medium length, im most likely just gonna get a brutal trim and accept my fate with lesser appeal for a while

nah somewhat wavy rn, it was dead straight in the past then i got a fuckass wolf cut and it turned wavy somehow idek.

Lowk, cut it and let it grow back and use heat protectant or just rock the waves imo the texture looks so nice idk why people voluntarily straighten their hair

for me personally it helps me frame my face better, but im just gonna go with a haircut and grow it back out, ty for the advice
