You can call me stupid or retarded, but this “height genetics are all that matter” idea is just cope. “Genetics alone contribute to 60-80% of your total height.”
Many people I've observed have short parents, with heights of 160-170 cm, but the children are 180 cm or 187 cm tall. I asked myself: how is that possible in the first place?
The first thing that came to my mind was posture.
Positioning is very crucial where height is involved. I stand 183 cm at 16 years of age. When I look at my own stature from the rear, observing my posture closely, I feel that I have lost some centimeters due to my bad posture:
Curvature in lower spine, amounting to
-Forward Head Position;
- Shoulders Rounded Forward;
-:crying:Both upper and lower combined;
What I have observed lately is that such an issue is quite common among teenagers of my generation, including myself, and I desire to correct my posture through exercises in order to recover the lost height.
Another factor is being a late bloomer, usually between the ages of 17–20. Many of my friends have grown 5–10 cm in a single year because they developed later, and I am still researching how that happens and how to maximize my chances.
I also wonder whether it is possible to grow up to 15 cm in one year by combining posture correction with being a late bloomer, and I am still searching for ways to achieve the maximum possible height during that late growth phase.
So yeah I will need some help

no unless ur severly malnourished,got a heart condition or very bad hormonal balaance its all genetics
But genetics are not js fixed, height is an adaptation to the environment over generations, for example look at Netherlands ppl their height is tall because the generations before consumed lots of raw dairy, their summers are hot (long limbs are better suited to warmer climates) so their ancestors evolved to a taller height due to the environment (also South Sudan is even taller they are another example) Obvs genes are major player but how those genes are expressed can give u extra few inches and over time Ur kids cld be taller at least, the thing Ur right on is that as yourself u won't be able to do much to grow taller than the trend of the generations before u
