You can call me stupid or retarded, but this “height genetics are all that matter” idea is just cope. “Genetics alone contribute to 60-80% of your total height.”
Many people I've observed have short parents, with heights of 160-170 cm, but the children are 180 cm or 187 cm tall. I asked myself: how is that possible in the first place?
The first thing that came to my mind was posture.
Positioning is very crucial where height is involved. I stand 183 cm at 16 years of age. When I look at my own stature from the rear, observing my posture closely, I feel that I have lost some centimeters due to my bad posture:
Curvature in lower spine, amounting to
-Forward Head Position;
- Shoulders Rounded Forward;
-
Both upper and lower combined;
What I have observed lately is that such an issue is quite common among teenagers of my generation, including myself, and I desire to correct my posture through exercises in order to recover the lost height.
Another factor is being a late bloomer, usually between the ages of 17–20. Many of my friends have grown 5–10 cm in a single year because they developed later, and I am still researching how that happens and how to maximize my chances.
I also wonder whether it is possible to grow up to 15 cm in one year by combining posture correction with being a late bloomer, and I am still searching for ways to achieve the maximum possible height during that late growth phase.
So yeah I will need some help
