My Facial Ratio Breakdown (Objective Self-Analysis)

IMG_1135[1].JPG

I took a bunch of my facial measurements recently and compared them to the standard reference ranges just to see how my proportions fall into the golden ratios. I used a completely unfrauded frontal photo, am yet to take angle measurements but will soon. I didn't bother with my side because I feel my front is what needs far more work as my side overpowers my front. I didn't do all 30 to 40 some ratio measurements but what I feel are definitely up there for the most important. Angles measurements will be done soon.

Picture used on right excuse the shitty look I had a hat on so my hairs everywhere. Pls don't clown my transparency lol.
  • Bigonial width: came out to 0.97, which is in the range and on the wider side.
  • Eye-spacing ratio: measured 0.33, so that’s lower than the typical 0.44-0.49 range.
  • Facial thirds (upper / middle / lower): roughly 0.27 / 0.35 / 0.40 — pretty balanced overall and close to what’s expected other than a long lower third.
  • FWHR (facial width-to-height ratio): got 1.52, which is below the average range of 1.9–2.06 meaning my face is much longer than wide.
  • Face width-to-neck width ratio: measured 0.94, nicely within the standard 0.90–1.00.
  • Inter-canthal to nose width ratio: came out to 1.20, higher than the usual 0.62–0.88 reference.
  • Nose-to-lip width ratio: measured 1.54, just slightly above the typical 1.38–1.53.
  • Nose-to-philtrum ratio: 3.11
  • Philtrum-to-chin ratio: 2.38, right in the ideal 2.05–2.55 range.
  • Total face width-to-height ratio: 1.53, which is above the 1.33–1.38 average meaning I have too long of a face.
  • Total width-to-iris/eye-spacing ratio: 0.49, within the range.
  • Upper-to-lower lip ratio: 1.68, comfortably within the 1.4–2.0 range.
Overall my worst ratios are my FWHR, TFWHR, and ESR. My eyes are very slightly too close together but not noticeably, I may have a slightly long lower third as well. Maybe slightly too long of a nose as my nose to philtrum ratio was 3.11. There isn't really much I can do for my eyes being slightly too close, I'm not sure about my nose length either other than surgery. But for my FWHR and TFWHR I definitely plan want to look into a cheek/malar augmentation to increase my lateral and possibly very slight forward projection. I feel my biggest flaw is my thin face, I have the tall skull but not the width. Overall my harmony came out to around 75-80% facial harmony when you aren't including angles. I will probably come back to that later. Overall a decently harmonious face based off ratios and measurements alone.

When I look at my ratios I find I have similar ratios to Thom Strijd. The main difference is that he has a slightly wider face, lower set eyebrows, and slightly thicker/wider lips. But almost everything else is a similar structure. Nose, eyebrow shape, upper third, long lower third, ears. I'm not sure if I could pull off his coloring, I'm also European but not with his exact tone. Some recent-ish pictures on the right, what else would any of you recommend. Maybe stupid comparison lol but eh whatever right. Purley on skull comparison.

Very distorted pic dude, a 33 esr is like a malformed feature and rope worthy
I measured from the end of one eye to the end of the other, then took the distance between the inner of each. That makes sense it's just on the closer side.

its not distorted lmao. You do realize the way its measured that if the distance between my eyes was 1 eye length the measurment wouldn't be 1 right? It would be 0.5?
