my mandible is recessed and i have a deepbite, i can get invisaline or braces to fix it but it would make the upper lip so much more protruding, so should i get fix it with braces (or invisaline) and then get bsso or would a genio be enough to give the illusion of no recession

BSSO. If core problem is mandible then genio will only help to an extent. BSSO fixes the problem entirely.

genioplasty can help projection, but it wont fix true mandibular recession or deep bite. i would link up the ortho if bite is my problem. but if recession is skeletal only bsso fixes it genio is almost not visible. get ortho before considering

yea i have an x ray and my mandible is recessed (fuckass ortho lied cause im 16 and wanted to make me feel good and make me stop obsessing over my looks instead of telling me the truth)

im currently trying to get marpe too, my palate is low average width and again the ortho lied and said its normal, ill keep looking till i get it

well yeah, if palate is actually narrow then ortho saying "normal" is a classic jfl. MARPE makes sende, just gotta find the right provider. but dont u think that u can file a report or sue the ortho for lying to u?

my parents do everything in their power to not fuel the obsession with my looks and they were like "ohh the qualified 50 year old said your fine so hes 100% right and we should take everything he says true, + why would he not say yes if u had a problem he could make money" so retarded if i even mention that we should sue him im gonna get my balls handed to me, ive explained multiple times why he lied and why i need could use marpe and why my mandible is recessed with medical studies and images similar to mine but they keep using the same cope excuse it pmo

Get Damon braces trust me Invisalign is ass and any other types of braces might just cause more recession.

Why don’t you get a different orthodontist? If you have a job you can save up for a down payment on a palate expander or Damon braces, most places that have Damon braces let you get a free consultation as well.
