been taking a basic multivitamin daily. not sure if it actually does anything or if its mostly placebo. worth it or cope if diet is mostly good but can be trashy sometimes?







depends if your diet is deficient in any of the things the vitamins provide no harm in taking them tho

makes sense. probably only useful if its lacking something, but do u think it would be bad if ur eating right and taking multivitamins too?
if you were lacking vitamin D from not going outside, then yes, you'd take vitamin D tablets, if you were lacking multiple vitamins from food then you'd take multivitamin tablets

The issue is absorption you know. There’s something called nutrient competition in absorption where nutrients simply compete in absorption and reduce the general absorption between nutrients. For example, Calcium competes with iron,vitamin D competes with vitamin A. So it’s generally best to just search up “which nutrients compete with each other” and to then separate the supplements based on the competition. Using an example of calcium and iron,take them separately in the day. Generally multivitamins work but their absorption is poor.
