Yes it’s real, it’s just in america pretty much everyone just straight up lies and tells their height with shoes AND adds 2 inches on top of that so a 5’9 guy usually would say he’s around 6’0

This is also the reason you would see girls saying how 6’0 isn’t tall enough, in reality it’s because they’re rarely around genuine barefoot 6’ footers, when they see true 6’0 they usually think he’s around 6’2, so basically they do wet panties around genuine 6’0 footers
